Memento I Terms of Use and Community Rules

What Memento I is

Memento I is a personal app for your habits, your training, your nutrition, your money and your reading. You can use it without an account. The account, with Sign in with Apple, is optional and is used for friends, groups, chats and the encrypted backup.

These terms are in addition to Apple's standard license agreement for apps. By creating your nickname you accept these terms and the community rules.

Age

You must be at least 16 to create an account.

Community rules

Offensive content and abuse are not tolerated. In nicknames, names, photos, messages, posts, stories, groups and products, the following is not allowed:

• Harassment, threats or intimidation.
• Insults, hate or discrimination based on origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or any other condition.
• Sexual content or nudity.
• Graphic violence or encouraging self-harm.
• Impersonating someone else.
• Spam, scams or advertising.
• Sharing other people's data or photos without their permission.
• Cheating on gym check-ins: photos that aren't yours, that weren't taken at a gym or with a faked location.
• Any illegal content.

How we enforce them

The app hides offensive words. You can report messages, photos, posts, stories, profiles, groups and products, and block anyone: they can no longer find you, write to you or see your activity.

We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete the account of whoever breaks them, without prior notice if it's serious.

Your content

You are responsible for what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the relevant people only so that the app works. Products you contribute to the shared database may remain there, with no link to you, if you delete your account.

Health

Calories, macros, recovery and the coach's answers are guidance only and are not a substitute for advice from a healthcare professional. Talk to a doctor before making major changes to your diet or training, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have or have had an eating disorder.

AI coach

The coach is optional and works with your own key from the AI provider you choose, under its terms. Its answers may contain mistakes.

Liability

We provide the app as is, without warranties, and are liable only to the extent required by law. What is only on your iPhone is lost if you delete the app or lose your iPhone: to avoid this, turn on the encrypted backup.

Leaving and changes

You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you want from Friends, Your account, Delete account. If we change these terms, we'll let you know in the app and, if the change is significant, we'll ask you to accept them again.
